MIKUMI NATIONAL PARK

The Mikumi national park near Morogoro, Tanzania, was established in 1964. It covers an area of 3230 km² hence is the fourth largest in the country. The parkis crossed by Tanzania’s a-7 highway. The park has large open plains of grassland, similar to the serengeti.

With almost guaranteedyear-round wildlife sightings, Mikumi makes an ideal safari destination forthose without much time.
